- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a butcher or Butchery manager
- Strong experience in cutting of meat, portioning , deboning and trimming
- Proven experience in managing a butcher or meat department
- experience in working in a high volume retail or wholesale environment
- knowledge of costing, and stock control
- Valid driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise , Train and manage butchery staff
- Ensure quality control and consistent product standard
- control stock levels , ordering and minimize wastage
- ensure compliance with health , safety and hygiene regulations
- Handle customer queries and compliance professionally
- drive sales , productivity and profitably
- ensure proper merchandising and display of meat products
