Location: Woodmead, Gauteng
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Waiter to join our team in Woodmead. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of service, ensuring that all guests receive a professional, friendly, and memorable dining experience.
You will play a key role in guest satisfaction by providing attentive service, maintaining presentation standards, and building positive relationships with customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take food and beverage orders and provide menu recommendations for events or special functions
Ensure plates, cutlery, and glassware are clean, polished, and in excellent condition
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables, serving stations, floors, and wall surfaces
Assist guests with special needs in accordance with company standards and guidelines
Ensure correct table setup, including appropriate cutlery and glassware
Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and debit cards
Ensure menus are current, accurate, and correctly priced
Oversee accurate billing and payment procedures after service
Monitor and uphold customer service standards in line with company policies
Build positive, long-term relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Handle customer feedback professionally and address concerns where possible
Evaluate customer comments to improve service quality
Skills & Competencies
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Calm, professional approach when dealing with difficult customers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good coordination and ability to carry trays and plates safely
Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
High standards of personal hygiene and presentation
Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 (Matric)
5–6 years’ experience in a similar waiter or hospitality role
Culinary qualification will be advantageous
