The ADvTECH Schools Division leads the private sector in the field of education, contributing meaningfully towards the sustainable development of human capacity in South Africa.
Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Ensure floors are swept, mopped, polished, and vacuumed as required.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Empty bins, manage waste disposal, and maintain recycling practices.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.

Carry out ad hoc cleaning or support duties as assigned.

- Good eyesight and attention to detail.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Helpful, energetic, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Enthusiastic, trustworthy, and service-oriented.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Grade 12 or a relevant trade qualification.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ relevant cleaning experience in a similar environment.
