Fire Technician

There is an immediate vacancy in Kempton Park, Gauteng, for a Fire Technician.

Closing Date: 04 July 2025

Job Scope: Take directive from the Business Manager regarding operations and opportunities to grow the business | Ensure the division practices best compliance and abides by the SANS 1475 standards | Be the accountable and responsible individual, for Fire Protection Services, inclusive of extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, signages etc |Conduct Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Risk and Hazard Inspections |Compiling of weekly invoices and work carried out |Running the daily operations of the business, and ensuring all documents and procedures, are in place |Apply Safety and Health policies, to ensure that all work is in accordance with ISO 45001 | This includes site visits, customer engagements, on site surveys and quotes, (technical discussions), after sales support | Candidate must understand each client account and their specific needs, so they can service accordingly |Candidate to provide tailor-made designs and technical specifications, for all fire detection and suppression projects. (design, layout, pricings) |Build a positive business relation with clients, to ensure sustainability |Dynamic and approachable character, with good command of the English Language | Ability to work independently on site, within stipulated timeframes.

Job Requirement: 5 years’ work experience in Fire and Wet Services Technical and Commercial Sales | Focus on ensuring quality service to our clients | Knowledgeable and experienced across all 3 units (Fire Extinguishers, Gas Suppression & Sprinkler Systems) {preferable}. *(coachable) | Proficient in the SABS and SANS regulations for Fire Safety (1475). *(coachable) |Diligent worker with initiative to ensure project deliverables are met.
